Wendy is a supporting advocate for improving the welfare and protection of all animals.
She has a deep passion for the marine environment. After a human resources career spanning 18 years in various roles within the financial services and retail industries, including successfully operating her own consultancy, Wendy is now actively involved in cetacean related projects, including event organising. Wendy co-ordinated the 2017 World Whale Conference in Durban, South Africa and the 2019 World Whale Conference in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia on behalf of the World Cetacean Alliance where she has volunteered her time since 2013.
